Whitewater kayaking course on the Białka and Bela Rivers it’s a real paradise for enthusiasts of strong sensations. If you have ability to control your kayak, you have a few hours of practice behind you and if you want to improve your skills, this is the perfect course for you! Hurry up, number of places limited, and the course is available only on a few weekends in May, when the water level is the most optimal. You can’t miss it!
The course on the Białka and Bela Rivers it’s a two-days course for people which have mastered basic skills of whitewater kayaking in WW2 scale of dificulty and which would like to develop their skills on rivers in WW3 scale of dificulty . The Białka and Bela Rivers are real whitewater in real issue. Those who were, know what we are talking about, the rest can find it out. Both rivers can be used in the spring from May to June. The water level on rivers fluctuates greatly, it is caused by the accumulation of melting snow in the Tatras and rainfalls. This makes these rivers can change their character almost every year and swimming on them is very interesting.
What will you learn on the course:
- Recognition of dangerous phenomena on rivers: trees, branches,
- Skills to break through waves and bends,
- Elements of crossing blocked sections of the river, jumping over rocks, cornering,
- Continuation and grinding of basic rowing techniques, counter – training, traverses, traverse in a hole, surfing and playing in a hole, discriminating between holes (safe and dangerous),
- Rescue using darts.
Price includes:
- 2 days of training (about 8 hours of activities in the water),
- Care of experienced instructors,
- Full equipment: whitewater kayak, paddle, stafety waistcoat, spraydeck, helmet, clothing: neoprene wetsiut, shoes, jacket.
The price doesn’t include:
- Transfer to the course location,
- Accommodation (possibility booking accommodation in our resort “Wietrznice”).

Comments
- Required minimum number of people to undergo the course – 4 peoples. However, maximum 12 people can be in the group.
- Required skill of total control over the kayak on rivers in scale of difficulty WW2, this includes, among others:
paddling in the intended direction, fast and short catching backwards, traverses, promoting, traverse / promoting backwards, supports, counters, turns, basic rescue techniques on mountain rivers, beak (mastered in a good degree), eskimo roll. - In the case of large numbers of trees on the Bela River, training can take place on the Białka River only.
- The organizer reserves the right to cancel the course in case of bad conditions on the river.

Frequently asked questions
• Is it a very extreme course?
The course is designed for people which had the opportunity to swimming in the kayak already, and have mastered ability to completely control the kayak.
• How I have to dress on the course?
You definitely have to dress thermoactive underwear. You are receiving special equipment after arrival, such as: neoprene wetsuit, neoprene shoes, waterproof jacket, helmet and stafety waistcoat.
• Do the instructors have experience?
Our team consists of former and active members of the National team, headed by doube olympian – Paweł Sarna. These titled competitors and experienced whitewater kayakers are members of many kayaking trips on the most difficult rivers in Europe, passionate about many sports.

We had a great days on the river with Pawel and Kris. Great professionals and good communication with them. Dunajec river is too calm for me but Bialka was a challenge. See you soon guys ?

It was something special. A lot of adrenaline and beautiful views. Water is clean and so cold 😉 I think that course is not for beginners. So if you have a experience just go there at spring with Rivent team.
