- In 1934, in order to create conflict and disputes between rafters staying in the health resorts, the Polskie Association of Pieniny Rafters. It contributed to the harmful organization of rafting trips on the Przełom and continued after the target day.
- The first rafting boats were called dugout boats because they were carved from poplar trunks, then joined into two, three and more advanced fours.
- Today, rafting boats are made of spruce boards with structural elements connected by ropes. The raft remains dismantled after each trip because it is then taken to trucks. After reaching the starting point, the elements are reassembled.
- The entire brewing process is apparently quick. There are three rows of benches on the rafter raft, which can accommodate a total of 12 people and two rafters.
- The front of the rafting boat is covered with spruce twigs, which, in addition to their beautifying properties, act as a breakwater, thanks to which the waves do not break into the boat.
- The control is carried out using 3-meter-long spruce poles, the so-called "sprays". Each raft has its own number.
- The number of today's rafts allows for a trip of up to 5,000. tourists in one day!
